Anna Greenberg has been dancing professionally since the age of 7 and teaching students of all ages for the last 7 years. She attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and received her B.A. in Dance and Children's Book Illustration from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Anna's extensive ballet, modern, and Persian dance training gives her a unique teaching style that blends technique, creativity, and cultural celebration in movement harmony. Her classes focus on empowerment and musicality through full body movement, visualization, and improvisation. Anna enjoys incorporating concepts from all academic subjects into her dance classes. She tailors her curriculum to fit the needs and developmental stages of her all her students. She currently teaches ballet at the downtown Berkeley YMCA as well as Persian dance at lecture demonstrations in schools and libraries throughout the Bay Area. Anna currently performs with Venture Dance Project, Kelly Kemp's Number9 Dance Company, and Shahrzad's Persian Contemporary Ballet.
