Anthony Maureal


Anthony Maureal, widely known as "Mogli" got his first drum kit at the age of 15 and formed a rock/alternative band called Alert The Armory in high school. He was a part of a constant award winning class 5A marching band in Homestead High School in Cupertino, CA. He marched bass, tenor drums, and snare from 2006-2009 competing in the Western Band Association championships.

Anthony is a bucket drummer/percussionist in the award winning band Mad Noise, recognized by the SF Bay Guardian as "Best Band of the Bay," by SF Weekly as "Best Hyper-literate Busking Outfit," by Daily Cal as "Best Local Band," and more. The band busks all over the Bay Area battling the brutal streets in the Mission, North Beach and the Piers in San Francisco. In 2016 Mad Noise completed an amazing 3.5 week tour in West Africa sponsored by the US Department of State and administered by American Voices.

Mogli plays a variety of Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative/Rock, Latin, Afro-Cuban in numerous on tours and gigs in venues, churches, events and weddings all over the bay area. In addition, he loves producing chill-beat music/soundtracks, Photography, Capoeira, jamming, skateboarding/Xtreme sports, collaborating in projects and living to share art with everyone!
