Gracia Mwamba

Gracia Mwamba (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Bay Area. A recipient of the inaugural Poetry & the Senses Fellowship from UC Berkeley, Gracia's art practice has a strong foundation in poetry and spoken word performance. She has also worked with non-profit organizations like Youth Speaks, Aspire Education and SF Girls Chorus to help increase art and education access to the community youth. Gracia has recently worked with Shahzad Ismaily in a residency from the Atlantic Center for the Arts and begun a project to create recyclable, solar-powered instruments. In her free time, she enjoys walks along the coast-line or cooking and consuming questionable amounts of chocolate.
