Elena Kobylina

Elena is a House Manager at The Marsh Theater. As a theater and performing artist, Elena thrives on utilizing her talents to heal and empower youth through a therapeutic approach with expressive arts. She graduated from The Actors Studio Drama School and received MFA in Acting. Elena has had experience teaching in NYC and SF, and her drama classes have various approaches, including improv, voice work, movement, drama literacy, and meditation. She was also chosen out of 22,000 applicants for Creatives Rebuild New York’s “Guaranteed Income for Artists” grant. Elena loves collaborating with local artists and was part of a short film made by High School students in Oakland as a part of the film program. Along with her teaching and being passionate about pedagogy, Elena is currently working on her short film to express the voices of immigrants. Through her growing expertise in performing arts, Elena works to impact many students positively.
